Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Lover Snap. By installing the app or visiting loversnap.com, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. The service
Lover Snap is an iOS app that uses AI image generation to create photographs from reference photos you upload. The app is offered "as is" and we may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.
2. Your account and content
- You must be 18 or older to use Lover Snap.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
- When you upload reference photos of yourself or others, you attest that you have the right to do so. This includes deceased loved ones — uploading photos of someone implies you are an appropriate steward of their likeness (next of kin, immediate family member, or otherwise authorized).
- You retain ownership of your photos and generated images. You grant Lover Snap a limited license to process them strictly for the purpose of providing the service to you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Lover Snap to:
- Generate AI photos of minors (under 18) — see AI Content Policy.
- Generate sexually explicit content, content depicting violence or self-harm, or content depicting criminal acts.
- Train AI characters on the likeness of public figures or celebrities who are not yourself or a family member.
- Use generated images to deceive, defraud, harass, or impersonate.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any product policy or safety filter.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Subscriptions are billed by Apple via the App Store at the price displayed at checkout.
- The Basic plan offers a 3-day free trial. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
- Subscriptions automatically renew. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions → Lover Snap.
- Apple is the payment processor. We don't see your card number.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and by Apple's App Store refund rules where applicable. In summary: refundable within the first 20 generated photos; not refundable once an AI character has been trained beyond that point due to per-photo compute cost.
6. Intellectual property
- You own the reference photos you upload and the AI-generated photos you create.
- Lover Snap, the brand name, logo, and the app itself are owned by us.
- The Flux image model is licensed from Black Forest Labs.
7. Disclaimers
AI image generation is imperfect. Some generated photos have visible artifacts. Lover Snap is provided "as is" without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
Lover Snap is a tool for honoring memory. It is not therapy, not medical advice, and not a substitute for grief counseling. If you are struggling, please consult a professional.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lover Snap is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our maximum liability is the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the AI Content Policy, with notice when feasible. Severe violations (CSAM, fraud, illegal activity) may result in immediate termination and reporting to authorities.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Disputes may be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
