Lover Snap

Memorial

Photos with your mom or dad — for the moments they didn't get to be there.

Lover Snap creates AI photographs of you with a parent who has passed away. Upload 3-16 reference photos of them and yourself, train two private AI characters (~30 minutes), then generate photorealistic images of the two of you together — at a wedding, a graduation, a quiet kitchen table.

  • Wedding photo with a late parent — one of the most-requested Lover Snap scenes
  • Holiday photos and birthdays the parent didn't live to attend
  • Family table scenes, quiet portraits, walks, and travel
  • Two AI characters in one photo via duo mode
  • Never simulates speech, never used to train shared models, refundable in first 20 photos

Photos with your mom or dad

For most people, the photographs they most wish they had are photographs of milestones their parents weren’t alive for. A wedding without a father. A first child’s birthday without a grandmother. Lover Snap is built to fill the photographs that didn’t happen — with care, with consent, and with respect for grief.

How it works for a deceased parent

  1. Find 3-16 photos of your parent. They can be from any era. Variety helps.
  2. Upload them in the app under Create a character and train.
  3. Train a separate AI character of yourself if you want both of you in the photo.
  4. Choose a scene — the family kitchen, a wedding venue, a beach. Use duo mode to combine the two characters.
  5. Generate. About 23 seconds per photo, up to 16 at once.

How it works

From a few photos to lifelike new memories.

  1. 1

    Upload selfies

Pick 3-16 photos of yourself or the person you want to include. Variety helps: close-ups, full-body shots, different angles and outfits. Avoid sunglasses or hats that hide the face.

  2. 2

    Train your AI character

Our Flux engine builds a private AI character that resembles the person in your reference photos. Training takes about 30 minutes. It only ever runs for you.

  3. 3

Generate up to 16 photos at once

Pick a scene — quiet kitchen, sunlit beach, anywhere — and generate photorealistic images in about 23 seconds each. Download the ones that feel right.

Common questions

What if I only have a few old photos of my parent?
Even 3-4 photos can produce a recognizable character — variety helps more than count. Photos from different decades can be combined as long as the face is clear.
Can the AI photo include both my parents if one is still living?
Yes. Train an AI character for each, and use duo mode to combine them in one scene.
Will it look photorealistic?
Yes — the Flux engine generates photorealistic images. Quality depends on the variety of reference photos.
Can I make a Live Photo of my parent?
Yes — Advanced plan subscribers can convert a still into a Live Photo with gentle ambient motion (no speech).
What about the ethics of doing this?
We publish a full ethics framework. The short version: we treat this as honoring memory, not replacing grief.

Ethics & dignity

Six commitments we hold ourselves to.

AI photography of loved ones — especially those who have passed — is ethically loaded. We don't take that lightly. These commitments aren't legalese; they're product rules baked into how Lover Snap is built.

  1. 1

    Consent comes first

We never generate AI photos of someone unless the person uploading them attests they have the right to do so. You are the steward of your loved one's memory.

  2. 2

    No minors

We never generate photos of children or teenagers, living or deceased. This is a permanent product policy, not a default we can toggle.

  3. 3

    No simulated speech

Lover Snap does not generate audio, deepfake video conversations, or any media that puts words in a deceased person's mouth. We make photographs, not impersonations.

  4. 4

    Private by default

Reference photos and trained characters are stored encrypted, used only for your generations, never used to train shared models, and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

  5. 5

    Honest representation

Every generated photo carries content credentials so it can be identified as AI-generated. We never market memorial photos as "real" or "indistinguishable."

  6. 6

    Grief support, not replacement

Lover Snap is a tool for honoring memory. It is not therapy, not a substitute for grief counseling. We link to support resources for anyone who would benefit from them.
