How we handle the things that matter most: your photos, your money, and your loved ones' likeness.

Data security

Reference photos and trained AI characters are encrypted at rest using AES-256. Photos are encrypted in transit via TLS 1.3. Trained characters are scoped to a single account and cannot be accessed by other users, by us in normal operation, or by third parties.

Data retention

• Reference photos: stored as long as your AI character exists. Deleted on character deletion.
• Trained AI characters: stored as long as you keep them. Deleted on user request.
• Generated photos: stored in your account until you delete them. Closing your account schedules everything for deletion within 30 days.
• Account metadata (email, purchase history): retained for legal/tax reasons for up to 7 years after account closure, then deleted.

Payments

Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card number. For backend processing of refunds and ancillary transactions we use Stripe, which meets bank-level (PCI-DSS Level 1) security standards.

AI training

Your reference photos and trained characters are never used to train shared models. They are used only for your own generations. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third-party AI providers for training purposes.

Responsible AI

• Lover Snap will not generate AI photos of minors.
• Lover Snap will not generate audio, simulated speech, or deepfake conversation video.
• Every generated image carries content credentials identifying it as AI-generated.
• The full Ethics Framework and AI Content Policy are published, dated, and version-controlled.
