Getting started with Lover Snap
1. Install the app
Download Lover Snap from the App Store. Lover Snap requires iOS 16 or later.
2. Sign in
Tap Sign in with Apple on the welcome screen. We never receive your password — Apple gives us a stable identifier so we can sync your characters across your iPhone and iPad.
3. Start your free trial (optional)
Basic includes a 3-day free trial. Tap Subscribe in Settings → Plans and choose Basic Monthly. You won’t be charged for 3 days; cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions before the trial ends.
4. Upload reference photos
Tap Create a character and select 3-16 photos of yourself (or the person you want to include). Tips:
- Variety matters more than count. Different angles, distances, expressions, lighting, outfits.
- Avoid sunglasses, hats, or anything obscuring the face.
- Avoid heavily filtered photos.
- Include both close-up and full-body shots if you can.
5. Wait ~30 minutes
Training runs on our servers. You can close the app — you’ll get a notification when the character is ready.
6. Generate your first photo
Pick a scene from the library or write your own prompt. Tap Generate. About 23 seconds later you’ll have your first AI photograph.
