About Lover Snap
Lover Snap is an independent app made by a small team. We use AI to help people create new photographs with people they love — including those who have passed away, are far away, or are not in the room today.
The app started as a tool for long-distance couples and quickly became something else: a way to honor memory. That shift is why we publish a full ethics framework, refuse to generate photos of children, and never simulate speech. We think AI photography of loved ones can be done with dignity — but only if you decide what dignity means before you build it, not after.
What we believe
- A photograph honors memory. It does not replace grief.
- Honesty is part of dignity — every generated photo carries content credentials.
- Some things shouldn't be products. We will never generate photos of minors.
- Private data stays private. Your trained characters are never used to train shared models.
